Version 4.001 repair 4: removed the small projecting step at the top of the stem and restored one continuous diagonal. All other glyph outlines, spacing and OpenType features are unchanged. Version 4 revisions N: removed the inward bottom-right serif to form one outward foot. Y: smoothly curved fork and shoulders, with broader serif flares. 2 and 7: lighter, shorter horizontal bars. R: longer pointed sweep and clean bowl-to-leg join. E: more pronounced angled terminals. Other base letters and numerals are unchanged from version 3; corresponding small capitals, accents and derived glyphs follow the updated forms. Version 3 revisions Y: one continuous outline with no exposed stem shoulder at the fork. M and N: stronger supporting strokes and lighter main diagonals. W: matched diagonal weights, parallel rising strokes and a unified center. 8: rounded counters and a smoothly curved waist. Changes extend to small capitals and accents. Version 2 revisions U: continuous curved bowl without square stem extensions. K: even diagonal weight and clean junction. M: corrected thick and thin diagonals. N: consistent diagonal and flat baseline join. J: continuous hook. These changes also appear in small capitals and accented letters. Added middle dot. Design A capitals display face digitally redrawn from the supplied photograph of the ROYAL GEORGE inscription. The source shows seven distinct letters: A, E, G, L, O, R, Y. These are the visual anchors. The remaining capitals, numerals, punctuation and accents are newly drawn interpretations using the same proportions, contrast and serif treatment. Curvature, perspective, shadows and surface wear have been removed for normal typography. This is an interpretive reconstruction, not a complete historical facsimile. Typing Uppercase and lowercase keys produce the same capital letterforms, matching the inscription. Optional OpenType Small Capitals (smcp/c2sc) provide smaller capitals in applications that support them. The font contains proportional numerals, Western and Central European accented capitals, currency marks, smart quotes, dashes and common symbols. Kerning is included; enable it in your design application. Best use Titles, ship names, signs, stationery and larger display lettering. The delicate strokes are most legible at larger sizes.
